Iowa City Is So Lucky

I bet it doesn't even know how lucky it is, cuz it's got Britt.

I talked to Britt for a while last night, which is why this post is actually coming about. It made me happy, because we haven't been able to actually talk on the phone in so long. She's super busy with grad school stuff and all that jazz, but it is nice to see that some of my friends in grad school can still make time for the people who love them, even if it's not a whole lot of time. I still want to go to Vegas for my birthday but Britt is totally raining on my parade by saying she can't go. We WILL make this work, one way or another. I can't have my sister NOT with me in Vegas, come on! We're a TEAM. Anyway, we'll see if it works out, because I super want to go. Not much else to report from the "great" state of Iowa and we know that's a very sarcastic 'great'. We also decided that we're going to try to talk on the phone at least once a week if we can, even if it is only for five minutes. Because, after all, Facebook only does so much, and you can only leave so many retarded and/or hilarious memories on each others walls before you want some real conversation, ha ha.

That's about it. I work every night this week at The Depot, and I have 3 subbing jobs. My Huskers are in the Big 12 Championship game against the Sooners, so that makes me a happy. Stupid Big 12, trying to kill one of the greatest college football rivalries by not allowing us to play every single season. Eff that. Go Big Red!
